Engagement
Revenue recognition review
A structured review of how subscription, retainers, and milestone billing land in your books — mapped to your contracts and reporting calendar.
Typical engagements from NT$85,000 depending on entity count and contract volume.
Request an engagement letterWho this is for
Finance teams at subscription, membership, retainer, and project-based service companies that need confidence that recognised revenue matches what contracts actually promise. Many of our clients close books in Taipei or New Taipei and report to regional headquarters under IFRS 15.
What you walk away with
You receive a dated findings memo that lists recognition gaps, timing differences, and disclosure points, ranked by financial impact. We do not hand you a generic checklist; each point references the contract clause or billing behaviour we observed.
How the engagement runs
- Scoping call (60–90 minutes) — We confirm entities, currencies, billing systems, and the review period.
- Document request — You provide a sample of contracts, invoices, and the revenue roll-forward for the period.
- Desk review — We map performance obligations, variable consideration, and timing of transfer of control.
- Findings workshop — We walk through proposed adjustments with your controller or CFO.
- Final memo — You keep a signed summary suitable for internal audit or external auditors as support.
Typical turnaround is three to five weeks from a complete document pack, shorter for single-entity reviews with fewer than forty active contracts.
Location and delivery
Work is led from our WuKu desk. Most of the review is remote; on-site days in Greater Taipei are available when contract files sit in paper archives or when your board prefers a face-to-face findings session.
Preparation
Before kickoff, nominate a single contact who can answer questions on billing exceptions, refunds, and side letters. Incomplete contract packs are the main cause of delay.
